Beast Feast Maine Offers Co-packing

DO YOU HAVE AN AWESOME SAUCE that you make and would like to make more of it but don't have the time?

Would you like to get it out into the market place but don't have the equipment to make the amount that you will need to satisfy your customers?

Do you have the time to do all that and at the same time to go out and promote and sell it?

WE CAN HELP YOU:

We are a State of Maine certified commercial kitchen operating in the town of Bridgton in the "heart of the lakes region". We are a small batch producer/co-packer; catering to the beginner or seasoned food producer that either doesn't have the extra cash to get started with equipment purchases, kitchen space, or the time to make multiple batches to keep your customers satisfied.

If you have your recipe formulated for small batches, have it labeled and have had it tested for ph, water activity and shelf life by a certified lab, we can make and bottle your sauce for you.

We have been in the food industry for over 12 years and produce over 75 products under our own label "Beast Feast Maine". Our products are in over 60 retail locations and are used in the commercial food industry, ie, restaurants, delis, and pubs. Not only do we co-pack for clients, we also private labels some of our recipes for a variety of retailers.

ADVANTAGES OF USING US AS YOUR CO-PACKER:

* Significantly reduce start up costs: capital cost for equipment and

   kitchen facilities can be huge.

* Eliminate overhead costs, ie, staffing, electricity, oil, propane.

* Allow you the time necessary to meet people and Introduce your

product to the market more readily to see if it's a product people

will want and use before your move forward with investing in

equipment etc. to produce large volumes on your own.

* We have the ability to buy packaging and ingredients in bulk to

produce your product so you can be competitive in the market

   place.

* Assist you in labeling, testing and nutritional information if

   needed.

* Security in knowing that your recipe is safe and will not to be

taken or used by someone who is not a certified commercial

   kitchen.

*We work with our clients confidentially and sign a non disclosure

agreement/contract to protect the recipe and its production

limitations solely for the client unless otherwise agreed upon.

  options as they arise)

loading of the finished products or after they leave our facility.

evident seals when produced), broken packaging (cracks,

punctures, broken bottles), or going out of code due to

  inactivity/lack of sales.

*NOTE* Separation is not a product failure or product defect,

separation is a natural occurrence, that may or may not occur.

Product labels MUST state"shake well, refrigerate after opening".

PRICING:

*Each initial product produced will be made in the batch size** that

your original recipe makes. The fee for this "TEST" batch will be

based on the ingredients, packaging, and time it takes to produce

the product, our current fee is $50 per hour. If the first batch is

not to your liking, we will produce a second (and a third batch if

necessary) at the same rate as for the first batch.

**Most often we produce the first batch on a larger scale that will

be used for subsequent batches in order to produce a sufficient

volume for resale. This process saves you money in the long run

  by eliminating multiple batches.

*Pricing is negotiated after batch approval and if you choose to

move forward by having us co-pack your product depending upon

market pricing for the ingredients and packaging material. The

prices are typically based on the number of bottles produced

which may vary slightly from batch to batch (+/- a bottles or two).

*Your presence is not required for production of your product and

we prefer that you are not present due to insurance requirements

  and kitchen production scheduling.

*Orders for production must be written and submitted via a letter,

PO (purchase order), email, or text. Verbal orders will not be

  excepted.

*Help with label design and layout is billed at $50 per hour.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

*Your recipe with method of prep, any special

  instructions/processes, and cook time.

*Ingredient list; please be brand specific if necessary, as an

example, Heinz brand or store brand.

*Measurements in ounces and pounds, NOT grams/mL, teaspoons,

tablespoons, cups, or 1/2 can, 1/4 bag, 2/3 of package, etc.
